You want to find a wonderful person to spend your life with. You know that you don’t want to spend the rest of your life alone or settle for a mediocre relationship just to avoid being single. I get it. I’m with you.
I’d also like for you to consider the possibility that you having what you want in life is a good thing for others as well. The achievement of your goals is good for us all.
Where would we be without dreams? Think about all the buildings that are being built, companies that are being launched, all of the new things that are coming into being every day. They’re all being produced from materials on our planet and our ideas. Nothing is coming from anyplace else.
Your dream of love keeps you engaged in life. It gets you out of bed in the morning. All the work that you do to achieve your dream is moving you forward. You are propelled toward your dream. This is good. Desires cause us to achieve things. It grows our economy, our souls and our humanity.
The universe wants you to have what you want. You are a unique child of the creator. There has never been anyone like you before and there never will be again.
There’s someone out there looking for you right now. He’s lonely sometimes too, just like you are. He wishes he had someone to tell his work stories to, eat dinner with, walk his dog with, just like you do. He wonders where you are and hopes to find you someday.
Don’t you want him to find you? Don’t you dare deprive this wonderful human being of the joy of having you in his life! He deserves to have love, just like you do. Maybe he’s tired of dating too, feels like giving up sometimes and would rather have beers with the guys than go out on another bad date.
Then he remembers that he’s not getting any younger and checks his inbox on whatever site he’s on, hoping to find you. Show up! Please show up!
Seeing you achieve your dreams is inspirational to other people. Don’t you love to read a good success story or watch a movie about someone who made it? Personally, one of my favorites is “Rudy”. Say what you want about Notre Dame football, but that guy did not quit. He would not take no for an answer and everyone loved him for it.
When you meet your love and build a life with him, people will see it and be encouraged not to give up on their own dreams. You never know who’s watching, who’s rooting for you.
I’m a sucker for a great success story, especially a great love story. I can’t wait to hear yours.
